This is a blog where I will share ways that I think everyone can get in on free electricity. Of course even if it is free the goal is to be aware of how much you use, or to use the least as possible. When I mean free I mean the sun is raining down free energy and we just need to harvest the energy. I understand equipment has a cost, however cheap or expensive. For this reason this blog is focusing on 5 volt. However more recently Power Delivery has brought higher volatges to the Universal Serial Bus.

Start at 5V then use 12V or higher if needed.

Phones
Tablets
Computers
Game boys, DS, PSP etc
Lighting

Ohm's Law V/I=R

A key factor to understanding or manipulating electricity most efficiently is to understand Ohm's Law. This simply is the relation between voltage(V), current(I), and resistance(R). I will dedicate another web page solely for Ohm's Law as the sources out there probably can explain it as well or better than myself.
